COVID-19 UPDATE: We are open for essential shopping. Please consider using our Click&Collect or container drop off service if possible to minimise time spent in store. Please shop alone where possible, we are currently allowing 1 adult per household to reduce the number of people in store to keep all our customers and staff safe. If you have any questions please phone the shop during our opening hours.
Welcome to the new future of shopping. Weigh your empty containers, fill, re-weigh and pay at the till. Our friendly staff are always available to give you a hand. You can bring your own clean bottles, containers, jars and we will sanitise the outsides on entry into the shop. We also have containers available to purchase or you can pack dry foods into recycled paper bags. Due to licensing rules, refill wine can only be purchased in Zero Muda costalata bottles and age verification is required. Once you have your Zero Muda bottle you can bring it back for refills any time. Please see our “Click and Collect” page for our stocklist. At present we are only accepting payment by card. Fresh bread from Leeds Bread Coop is available every day except Tuesday and Sunday when the bakery is closed. Come early to guarantee a loaf!
New drop off service:
We are now offering a new service where you can drop off your empty containers for us to fill for you. We will text you when they are ready to collect later in the day. If you drop off late in the day, you can collect the following day. If the shop is quiet staff may be able to get to your order right away so they will let you know. Please pre-label each container with which product you would like. We will fill by container size rather than product weight so please also label if you would like the container full or half full. Once a product is dispensed into your container, you will be responsible to pay for the item so we recommend this service to customers who are regular shoppers with us and are familiar with our pricing.
Click and Collect now available 7 days a week. COVID-19 guidance is to stay at home and reduce contact. Using our click and collect service means you can reduce time spent in store while still getting all your essentials.
Collections slots will be available every afternoon and orders must be placed the day before collection. For example, to book a slot for Monday, place your order on Sunday. The minimum order is £10. The collection times are flexible, just turn up in the afternoon for the day you selected.
All click and collect items will be packed into recycled paper bags. Liquids are not available for purchase online, however if you wish to purchase liquids, please label your empty containers and they will be filled on your arrival while you wait. We also sell containers for liquids if you don’t have your own. Please bring a tote bag or bag for life and we will pack your order into this for you. Please note that you will need to enter the shop to complete payment at the till.
Each weighed item will specify if the price is for 100g or 10g. For example if you would like to purchase 400g of an item priced per 100g, please add a quantity of 4 to your order. We will weigh as accurately to your specified quantity as possible but note that there is a tolerance of +/- 10 g on weighing. The final cost is an estimate only and exact price will be determined at collection and provided on your receipt. At present we are only accepting payment by card.
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer fresh bread on click and collect due to the nature of how we place orders with the bakery. Bread is available on first come first serve basis in store every day except Tuesday and Sunday when the bakery is closed. If you have booked for click and collect, you can try calling the shop in the morning as it may be possible to set aside a loaf for you.
